The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is Hong Kong’s statutory body for promoting Hong Kong’s trade with the world. Its Kuala Lumpur Office is inviting applications for the following position:

Project Assistant (on-site position at our Kuala Lumpur office)

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit buyers and exhibitors for trade fairs and events
• Solicit print and online advertisers
• Liaise and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, trade associations, industry organizations, and media representatives
• Coordinate and facilitate business matching meetings to foster business connections

Job Requirements

• A recognized university degree with relevant work experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and/or Mandarin
• Innovative, adaptable, and able to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines and resource constraints
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant IT tools

Remuneration and Benefits

The successful candidate will be offered a one-year contract with prospects for renewal upon expiry. Salary to commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package will be offered to the right candidate.
