Research Specialist
Job Purpose
Leads applied research projects on glove compound formulation, film/product properties and process innovation to support new-product development and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Design and lead experiments/trials on latex/nitrile compound formulation and process parameters.
Analyse test data and translate findings into actionable formulation or process recommendations.
Lead pilot-scale and plant trials for new formulations or product improvements, coordinating with Production and QA.
Guide and review the work of Researcher Associates on assigned projects.
Prepare technical reports, patent-disclosure inputs and presentations for management/customers.
Track emerging materials, competitor products and industry innovation trends.
Ensure research activities comply with laboratory-safety, IP-protection and quality standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
Degree (Master's an advantage) in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science or Chemical Engineering.
3–5 years of R&D experience in polymer/rubber, latex or related materials innovation.
Strong experimental-design and data-analysis skills.
Experience translating lab-scale findings into plant-scale trials.
Good technical writing and cross-functional communication skills.
