THE JOBSCOPE

• Perform daily inspection and maintenance of building facilities, equipment, and systems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as assigned.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, mechanical, and other building-related issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, residents, and departments.
• Conduct regular checks of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and other facilities.
• Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure proper and safe operation.
• Record maintenance work, faults, repairs, and follow-up actions.
• Assist in handling emergency maintenance situations.
• Ensure all maintenance tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Support contractors and external service providers during maintenance and repair works.
• Follow all safety, health, environmental, and company procedures.
• Report major defects, equipment breakdowns, or safety hazards to the Engineering Supervisor/Manager.
• Assist with energy and utility monitoring to support cost-saving initiatives.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Engineering Manager or Supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in building maintenance, hotel engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
• Technical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, or general building maintenance.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Physically fit and able to perform hands-on maintenance work.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
