Conduct routine site inspections and identify potential safety hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
Support compliance with the WSH Act, relevant regulations, and company safety requirements.
Assist in conducting safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and safety inductions for workers.
Prepare and maintain WSH documentation, including Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), inspection records, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) documentation.
Monitor workers' compliance with safety rules and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist in incident reporting, investigations, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Liaise with project staff, subcontractors, and clients on daily safety matters.
Promote good safety practices and foster a positive safety culture on site.
Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Project Manager or WSH Officer.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Safety Coordinator or in a similar WSH role in the construction industry.
Possess a valid Singapore
Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Coordinator
certificate.
Familiar with Singapore construction safety regulations and WSH requirements.
Possess a valid
Work-at-Height (WAH)
certificate.
Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
Good communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
