Technical Customer Support Manager Location: Singapore An international technology group is seeking a Technical Customer Support Manager to join their team in Singapore. You will be at the forefront of technical customer support, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring seamless communication between customers, sales teams, and product experts.

What You'll Do

• Engage in technical sales support for machinery, equipment, spare parts, and service products by providing expert advice and guidance to customers and acquisition teams.
• Lead technical discussions, deliver presentations, and support Account and Sales Managers during negotiations with clients to ensure accurate information sharing.
• Assist Sales Managers and Order Processing Managers with SAP configuration and Salesforce processes for quotations and orders to streamline workflow efficiency.
• Take responsibility for the technical aspects of quotations and orders for all machinery, equipment, and service products by ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with colleagues in HQ for backup support, layout clarification, process acceleration, and in-depth technology argumentation to maintain high standards.
• Track agenda items and punch lists diligently while following up on outstanding tasks to guarantee timely completion of projects.
• Ensure prompt responses to responsible stakeholders by maintaining clear communication channels within the organisation.
• Communicate results and responsibilities effectively across departments to foster collaboration and transparency.
• Decide on optimal timing for involving product experts from headquarters in acquisition-related discussions to maximise impact.
• Gather information on competitor products’ features and share insights with relevant teams to inform strategic decisions.
  
  

What You Bring

• A university degree in business, engineering or a similar field
• 7 years of relevant experience in sales of capital goods or sales processes.
• Proficiency in MS suite, MS Office applications, etc.
• Experience using SAP and Salesforce platforms is highly valued as these tools are integral to quotation and order management.
• Excellent team player qualities combined with strong communication skills enable effective collaboration across departments.
• Extensive regional knowledge of Southeast Asia/South Asia countries supports successful customer engagement.
• Intercultural awareness allows you to navigate diverse environments sensitively and respectfully.
• Willingness to travel
• A sense of responsibility ensures that tasks are managed reliably from start to finish without constant supervision.
• Comfort interacting with clients as well as colleagues from headquarters fosters trust-based relationships.
