Job Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee and support daily warehouse and logistics operations, including inbound, storage, inventory control, and outbound distribution
- Ensure smooth execution of import and export activities, including coordination with freight forwarders, customs agents, and suppliers
- Manage end-to-end logistics flow from suppliers (local and overseas) to warehouse, and from warehouse to customers or intercompany locations
- Ensure warehouse operations are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with company operational standards
- Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure proper control of stock movement through WMS/ERP systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse layout, processes, and logistics efficiency
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import/export procedures, and company policies
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including procurement, production, sales, and customer service teams
- Lead, supervise, and support warehouse team operations, ensuring productivity and discipline
- Assist in manpower planning, training, and performance management of warehouse staff
- Support month-end stock count activities, including occasional weekend work when required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- Open to candidates from manufacturing background
- Preferably experienced in handling import and export operations
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations end-to-end
- Familiar with customs procedures, freight forwarding processes, and shipping documentation
- Experience using WMS and/or ERP systems is an advantage
- Competent and experienced professional in both logistics and warehouse operations
- Strong leadership potential suitable for Assistant Manager level
- Good communication and coordination skills with multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required for liaising with suppliers and stakeholders
- Proficient in English communication
