Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and finance functions to ensure accurate and timely financial records.
• Plan and perform supplier and subcontractor payments, including preparation of payment vouchers and online banking transactions.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, monitor receivables, and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Monitor, forecast, and manage the company's cash flow requirements.
• Conduct monthly inventory stock take and reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, financial forecasts, management reports, and month-end closing schedules.
• Liaise with banks on banking facilities, guarantees, financing arrangements, and other banking matters.
• Manage petty cash disbursements and ensure proper documentation and reconciliation.
• Perform project revenue recognition and maintain project-related financial records.
• Work closely with Quantity Surveying (QS) and Project teams to ensure accurate project costing, billing, and reporting.
• Prepare and submit GST returns in a timely manner.
• Liaise with external auditors and support annual audit exercises.
• Perform other ad hoc accounting and finance duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Experience in the construction, aluminium, façade, glazing, or project-based industry will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Synergix software will be an added advantage.
• Experience in project accounting and revenue recognition is preferred.
• Familiar with GST submission, cash flow management, and monthly financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Positive attitude, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Candidates who can commence work within short notice will have an added advantage.
