A Clinic Assistant (Pembantu Klinik) acts as the bridge between patients and doctors, managing both clinical and administrative duties. In Simpang Ampat, Penang, standard job descriptions require a minimum of SPM, with typical monthly salaries ranging between RM1,600 and RM2,400.

Core responsibilities include:

• Administrative & Patient Care: Managing patient registration, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance or Guarantee Letters (GL), and handling billing.
• Clinical Assistance: Assisting doctors during consultations, preparing medical instruments, and dispensing prescribed medications under supervision.
• Clinic Upkeep: Maintaining the cleanliness of the clinic and monitoring inventory and medical supplies.
