岗位职责

Head of Finance, Shared Services (SSC)

Senior Leadership | Group Finance | Shared Services

About the Role

The Company is seeking a strategic and commercially sharp Head of Finance to serve as the principal financial adviser for its Shared Services Centre (SSC) — a shared services delivery environment spanning multiple functions and geographies. This is a high-visibility, senior leadership role that sits at the intersection of finance strategy, shared services economics, and enterprise transformation — partnering directly with C-suite, Group Finance, and LBU CFOs to shape and execute financial direction across the SSC.

What You'll Be Doing

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Serve as the principal financial adviser to SSC and functional leadership — shaping and executing financial strategy aligned to Group priorities, Efficient Growth targets, and enterprise transformation
  • Drive long-term value creation through strategic capacity planning, service model optimisation, and investment prioritisation across SSC operations
  • Lead financial scenario modelling and strategic trade-off discussions on location strategy, demand management, and service scalability

Financial Planning, Analysis & Reporting

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for SSC operations
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models supporting demand forecasting, utilisation tracking, and cost optimisation
  • Provide clear, decision-oriented insights for C-suite, Group Executive Committee, and Board-level discussions on SSC performance and efficiency metrics
  • Ensure alignment between SSC financial plans and Group financial targets

Cost Management, Efficiency & SSC Economics

  • Lead cost management and optimisation initiatives across SSC — focusing on productivity, utilisation, and service efficiency
  • Drive transparency of recharges to local business units, ensuring charges are explainable, defensible, and free from cost distortions or under-recovery
  • Identify and address cost leakage, underutilisation, and inefficiencies in the service delivery model

Investment, Transformation & ROI

  • Evaluate and prioritise investments related to SSC expansion, automation, and capability development — ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and maximising ROI
  • Lead financial due diligence and business case assessments for transformation initiatives including process digitisation and automation
  • Support optimisation of the delivery footprint and vendor/partner strategies to maximise value

Financial Governance, Risk & Control

  • Ensure strong financial governance, controls, and compliance across SSC activities
  • Oversee financial risk management — proactively identifying and mitigating cost leakage, inefficiencies, and structural issues in cost allocation and cross-border recharge models

Stakeholder Management & Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted adviser to SSC leadership, Group Finance, and LBU CFOs — providing constructive challenge, commercial insight, and fact-based recommendations
  • Enable alignment between centralised service delivery and local business needs — fostering strong collaboration across markets and functions

Capability Building

  • Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to finance resources supporting SSC — fostering consistency in insight quality, commercial rigour, and decision support
  • Foster a culture of commercial excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • Professional accounting qualification — CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent

Experience

  • 15–20 years of finance experience, including exposure to business partnering, cost management, or shared services environments
  • Proven track record in financial planning, cost optimisation, and investment governance
  • Deep understanding of offshore/shared services delivery models, recharge frameworks, utilisation metrics, and service costing
  • Proven ability as a trusted adviser to senior Finance leadership, influencing key decisions and strategic direction

Core Competencies

  • Strategic financial leadership — capacity planning, cost optimisation, long-term value creation
  • SSC Economics — recharge frameworks, utilisation metrics, service costing
  • Executive business partnering — trusted adviser to C-suite and senior Finance stakeholders
  • Strong analytical capability — translating complex financial data into clear, forward-looking insights
  • Leadership across a distributed model — driving consistency and capability through coaching and influence
  • Stakeholder navigation — operating effectively in a complex, matrixed multi-stakeholder environment
