We are seeking a commercially driven and technically astute Sales Executive with a solid foundation in Quantity Surveying (QS) or Cost Estimation. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical project measurement and commercial sales delivery. You will not just spot costs; you will use your deep understanding of construction costs, tendering, and project scopes to build trust with clients, accurately scope opportunities, and drive revenue growth.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead Generation & Client Advisory: Identify new commercial project opportunities and proactively build networks with main contractors, architects, and developers in Singapore.
• Tender & Bid Management : Lead the preparation of technical tenders, cost estimations, and quotations, ensuring both technical accuracy and commercial profitability.
• Value Engineering: Analyze client project briefs to propose strategic cost-saving solutions, maximizing our win rate while protecting healthy project margins.
• Commercial Negotiations: Lead contract discussions regarding pricing, payment structures, variation orders (VO), and contract terms (e.g., standard SIA or PSSCOC forms) prior to deal closure.
• Technical Presentations: Act as the primary technical point of contact, delivering credible product presentations, value-driven commercial proposals and cost-benefit breakdowns to clients' project management and procurement teams.
• Drive Revenue : Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the construction, engineering, and development sectors; using technical knowledge.
• Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with main contractors, developers, consultants, government agencies, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Market Intelligence : Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects to identify new growth avenues.
  

Requirements

• Educational Background: Diploma or Degree in Business, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience Profile: Minimum of 2–4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or Technical Sales professional within the Singapore construction landscape.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the construction lifecycle, project delivery methods, and general contractor workflows.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven ability to read blueprints and drawings accurately.
• Contracts Savvy: Strong familiarity with local construction contract frameworks (SIA / PSSCOC) and variation management.
• Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. Must have a hunter mindset with the patience required for long B2B construction sales cycles.
