Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Neurologist role based in Georgetown. The Neurologist will provide comprehensive clinical care, including assessing patients with neurological complaints, performing diagnostic evaluations, establishing treatment plans, and monitoring ongoing management. Daily responsibilities include conducting outpatient clinics and inpatient consultations, interpreting diagnostic tests such as EEGs, and managing conditions such as epilepsy and movement disorders. The role also involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, documenting clinical findings accurately, participating in case discussions, and contributing to quality improvement and patient education initiatives. The Neurologist is expected to uphold the hospital’s standards of safety, ethics, and compassionate care.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Medicine with completed medical degree, relevant residency, and recognized specialist certification in Neurology.
  • Clinical expertise in Neurology, including diagnosis and management of common and complex neurological disorders.
  • Specific experience in Epilepsy care, including seizure classification, therapeutic planning, and long-term follow-up.
  • Competence in Movement Disorders, including evaluation and treatment of conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and related syndromes.
  • Proficiency in EEG interpretation and utilization of neurodiagnostic tools to support accurate clinical decision-making.
  • Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practice, and continuous professional development; research or teaching experience is an advantage.
  • Eligibility for relevant medical licensure and registration, and willingness to adhere to hospital policies and clinical governance standards.
