Position: Operations Planner (Trucking)

Salary Package: RM4,000 to RM4,500

Working Location: Gelang Patah, Johor Bahru

Company Background: Logistics Service

Working Days: Monday to Friday + Alternate Saturday

Working Hours: 9am to 6pm (need to coordinate after working hours)

Job Descriptions:

• Plan and coordinate daily trucking operations, including vehicle and driver scheduling.
• Assign trucks and drivers according to delivery schedules, customer requirements, and route efficiency.
• Monitor delivery progress and ensure all shipments are completed on time.
• Communicate closely with drivers, customers, warehouse teams, and internal departments regarding delivery arrangements.
• Respond promptly to operational issues such as delivery delays, vehicle breakdowns, traffic conditions, and last-minute changes.
• Prepare and update daily transport schedules, trip records, delivery orders, and operational reports.
• Ensure drivers receive complete delivery information, documentation, and instructions before departure.
• Track truck availability, driver attendance, vehicle movement, and job completion status.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance, inspection, and repair schedules with the relevant teams.
• Verify delivery documents, trip sheets, proof of delivery, toll receipts, and other transport-related documents.
• Ensure trucking operations comply with company procedures, customer requirements, and transport regulations.
• Manage urgent delivery requests and adjust schedules when necessary.
• Identify opportunities to improve route planning, truck utilization, delivery efficiency, and operational costs.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, overtime, and other operational expenses.
• Perform other operational duties assigned by the management.

Job Requirements:

• Must have minimum 1-3 years of relevant working experience as planner/coordinator in logistic line.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
