Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 6:30am to 3:30pm

Friday: 6:30am to 3:00pm

Working hours may vary according to the assigned school's timetable and operational requirements.

Job Scope

- Prepare ingredients and equipment for Nutrition and Food Science lessons.

- Clean and maintain kitchens, preparation rooms and work areas.

- Wash and store kitchen appliances, utensils and equipment.

- Receive and check food deliveries.

- Conduct stock-taking and maintain inventory records.

- Store ingredients safely and report damaged or expired items.

- Check that gas taps and electrical switches are turned off after use.

- Support teachers during practical lessons.

Requirements

- Primary school qualification or equivalent is preferred.

- Relevant kitchen, food preparation or catering experience is preferred.

- Food Safety Course Level 1 certification is an advantage.

- Familiar with basic kitchen equipment and food hygiene procedures.

- Organised and able to work independently.
