We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with expertise in tendering for logistics projects. The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, securing new business opportunities through effective tendering processes, and driving revenue growth. This role requires strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of logistics operations and market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of strategic business development plans focused on tendering for logistics projects.
• Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and market research.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
• Manage the end-to-end tender process, including bid preparation, submission, negotiation, and contract award.
• Collaborate closely with operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless execution of tendered projects.
• Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches tailored to client requirements and project specifications.
• Achieve sales targets and objectives while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• 5 to 8 years of experiences within the logistics industry
• Proven track record of success in business development within the logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations and tendering processes, including contract management and negotiations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market data and develop actionable insights and strategies.
• Experience in managing large-scale logistics projects and complex supply chain solutions is highly desirable.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skill for costing and analytical purposes
