Job Purpose:

To manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. The Quantity Surveyor aims to minimize project costs and enhance value for money, while ensuring that the project meets all legal and quality assurance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Planning & Estimating
• Prepare initial budget estimates and cost plans for new projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
• Tendering & Procurement
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Review and evaluate contractor quotations and recommend awards.
• Project Control
• Monitor ongoing construction costs and prepare monthly valuations and cost reports.
• Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
• Contract Administration
• Assist in the preparation and negotiation of contracts and subcontracts.
• Monitor and track variations, change orders, and claims.
• Final Accounts & Reports
• Compile and agree final accounts with contractors.
• Provide cost control advice and produce detailed financial reports for stakeholders.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
