Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Finance Executive will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the finance department, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and maintaining compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls. This role involves a mix of accounts management, financial reporting, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Process invoices, verify expense claims, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding collections from clients.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and intercompany settlements.
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and schedules.
Maintain the General Ledger and ensure all journal entries are accurately posted.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes within strict deadlines.
Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings to IRAS.
Assist in corporate tax computations and withholding tax filings where applicable.
Requirements
Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent (ACCA/LCCI candidates are encouraged).
Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero, or Microsoft Dynamics).
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
High level of accuracy, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
