Job Responsibilities
Plan and conduct developmentally appropriate lessons and learning activities in line with curriculum requirements.
Create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment for children.
Observe, assess and document children’s learning and development.
Manage the classroom and guide children’s behaviour positively.
Ensure children’s health, safety, hygiene and well-being.
Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to centre programmes and activities.
Support and guide junior educators where required.
Uphold the Centre’s vision, mission, values and professional standards.
Requirements
Diploma or relevant professional qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education.
ECDA-certified/recognised qualification for the relevant teaching level.
Passionate about working with young children.
Good communication, teamwork and classroom management skills.
Responsible, adaptable and committed to providing quality early childhood education.
