Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Business Development role based in Shah Alam. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with existing and potential customers, and expanding the company’s network of vendors and partners. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing market trends, developing sales strategies, preparing proposals, and conducting outreach through calls, meetings, and digital channels. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams to optimize product offerings, improve pricing and promotions, and enhance the overall customer experience. The Automotive Business Development team member will be expected to meet growth targets, provide regular performance reports, and actively contribute ideas for business improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong business development, sales negotiation, and relationship management skills relevant to the automotive or e-commerce sector.
• Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and translate insights into practical strategies and action plans.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple initiatives, follow up systematically, and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of automotive parts, vehicle systems, or a willingness to learn quickly and stay updated on product knowledge.
• Comfort with using online sales platforms, CRM tools, spreadsheets, and other digital systems to manage leads, accounts, and reports.
• Prior experience in business development, account management, or sales is preferred; e-commerce or automotive industry experience is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive, or a related field is beneficial, though equivalent practical experience will be considered.
