REC Engineering Company Limited Hiring! Full Time Engineer's Assistant (Contract) (Ref.: EA-28-572) in Islands, Hong Kong - Ricebowl

Job Duties:

• Assist Engineers in performing routine engineering duties;

• Handle site co-ordination, inspection of works, site supervision, testing, reporting, filling etc.

• Liaise with Contractors and work under instruction by HK Electric's Engineer;

Requirements:

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering from Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education / Technical College / Technical Institute, or equivalent (Applicants with lesser qualification but with extensive experience on electrical work will also be considered);

• Holder of Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card);

• Registered Electrical Worker (Grade A0 or above);

• Valid certificates for Mandatory Basic Safety Training (Construction Work) etc.

• Valid driving license will be an advantage;

• At least 1 year of relevant experience (Experience in power plant / transmission system and public utilities will be an advantage).

Other Information:

• Contract Period: from June 2026 to August 2028;

• Work Locations: Lamma Power Station and Hong Kong Island (as assigned by HK Electric);

• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 to 17:45 (including 1 hour lunch break);

• Time-off compensation will be arranged in lieu of the overtime working hours.
