Job Responsibilities

• Ensure electrical installations and activities comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements, safety standards and company procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure identified defects are rectified promptly.
• Maintain required statutory records and documentation.
• Monitor electrical supply distribution systems, switchboards, transformers, MCC, MCB generators and critical equipment.
• Identify abnormal conditions and take corrective action to prevent power interruptions.
• Ensure standby power systems are ready for operation.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to the approved schedule.
• Inspect, test and maintain electrical equipment to prevent unexpected failures.
• Follow up on outstanding maintenance issues.
• Perform routine inspection and respond to abnormalities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, breakdowns, inspections and testing.
• Prepare electrical maintenance reports and highlight critical issues to the superior.
• Provide emergency electrical support and participate in standby/on-call arrangements when required.
• Monitor electrical consumption and identify abnormal usage or wastage.
• Support energy-saving initiatives and improvements.
• Monitor major electrical loads and operating conditions.

Requirement

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• Valid Chargeman AO or Chargeman B4 Certificate of Competency issued by the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga).
• Minimum 2 years level hands-on working experience in HV operation and maintenance environment and ability to perform, supervise service, repair, overhaul of electrical components and equipment.
• Must be able to response to emergency call duty and special task arrangement during off day.

Working Day: 6 days per week (rest day based on schedule; weekday or weekend)
Working Time: 7am/7pm (Rotation every 2 weeks)

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
