Role Description

The Retail Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur, supporting the launch and daily operations of LiberNovo’s first retail store in Malaysia. This role focuses on delivering an engaging customer experience through product demonstrations, consultative selling, and personalised product recommendations based on customer needs.

Day-to-day responsibilities include welcoming customers, conducting product demonstrations, addressing enquiries and objections, achieving store sales targets, and promoting ongoing campaigns and store activities. The role will also involve hosting livestream sessions across platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram, participating in short-form content, and supporting in-store events and product launches.

The Retail Sales Associate will also assist with daily store operations, including POS transactions, merchandise restocking, maintaining demo units and displays, customer contact collection, delivery arrangements, and aftersales support. The role requires close collaboration with the Store Lead and team to maintain store standards, monitor customer feedback, and support overall business performance.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused skills with a commitment to delivering an engaging and professional customer experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Friendly, proactive, confident, and comfortable engaging with customers in a retail environment.
• Strong interest in sales and the ability to understand customer needs, recommend suitable products, and work towards store sales targets.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and speaking to an audience during livestream sessions, or willing to learn.
• Willingness to learn about ergonomic products, smart-living solutions, and product use cases.
• Able to work on-site at Mid Valley Megamall, including retail shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Comfortable using POS systems and handling customer transactions accurately.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with an SPM qualification or above are encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience in retail, sales, customer service, or livestreaming is an advantage but not required.
• Mandarin or other dialects will be considered an added advantage.
• Ability to maintain a positive and collaborative attitude while supporting daily store operations and events.
