Technical Support Engineer

The Job

• Provide technical support for corrective and preventive maintenance activities in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Troubleshoot technical issues and attend to customer service requests and enquiries
• Perform installation, testing and commissioning of equipment at customer sites
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and monitor equipment performance to identify potential issues
• Liaise with principals and suppliers on spare parts, technical matters and quotations
• Prepare and submit Field Service Reports and other maintenance-related documentation
  Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical guidance to customers
• Maintain accurate records of service requests, maintenance activities and follow-up actions
  Support scheduled on-call rotation and perform standby duties when required
• Ensure all work activities comply with company governance and safe work procedures
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent; candidates with relevant professional experience may also be considered
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in technical support, field service, maintenance or a similar environment
