About the role
We are seeking a motivated and resourceful
HR Executive
to join our Human Resources team. This is a
full-time position
that plays a vital role in supporting our organisational objectives and ensuring our employees receive excellent HR services and support. As an HR Executive, you will be responsible for a range of generalist HR functions, contributing to the strategic and operational aspects of human resources management within Vac-Tech Engineering.
Key responsibilities
Manage recruitment and selection processes, including job posting, screening, interviewing and onboarding of new employees
Administer employee records, personnel files and HR documentation in compliance with relevant employment legislation
Support the administration of payroll, benefits and employee compensation programmes
Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
Provide support to employees on HR-related queries, including leave management, contract matters and workplace issues
Coordinate employee engagement activities, training programmes and professional development initiatives
Support performance management processes and assist managers with employee relations matters
Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations and statutory requirements
Maintain accurate HR databases and prepare HR reports and analytics as required
Assist with health and safety initiatives and employee wellbeing programmes
What we're looking for
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
2-4 years of experience in a generalist HR role or HR-related functions
Sound knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Singapore
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency with HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion
Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks
Customer service orientation with a genuine interest in supporting employees
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Certification in HR management or relevant professional qualifications is advantageous
