About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction and interior fit-out projects from commencement to completion, leading Project Coordinators, site teams, subcontractors and workers to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction and interior fit-out projects from start to handover

• Plan project programme, manpower, materials and subcontractor requirements

• Lead and supervise Project Coordinators, Site Supervisors, workers and subcontractors

• Conduct and lead project, site and client coordination meetings

• Monitor project progress, cost, quality and overall performance

• Coordinate closely with QS, Procurement, Design, Technical and other internal departments

• Review drawings, specifications and site requirements before execution

• Manage subcontractor work packages and monitor their productivity and quality

• Identify project risks, delays and site issues early and implement corrective actions

• Manage project handover, defects and close-out

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building, Quantity Surveying or related field

• Minimum 5 years of relevant construction/project management experience

• Experience in interior fit-out, commercial renovation or main contractor projects is preferred

• Strong site coordination and project planning ability

• Able to manage several projects and teams simultaneously

• Good understanding of drawings, construction sequence and site execution

• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills

• Commercially aware and able to manage project cost and resources

• Able to travel and work outstation when required

• Possess own transport and valid driving licence
