We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to support finance transformation, ERP implementation and technology-enabled business improvement initiatives across public- and private-sector organisations.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of ERP and finance transformation projects across the full project lifecycle.
Analyse and document finance processes covering GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Budgeting, Consolidation and Financial Reporting.
Support requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, solution assessment, UAT and implementation activities.
Coordinate with finance teams, business users, technology teams and system vendors to resolve issues and drive project deliverables.
Support PMO activities including project planning, status reporting, risk and issue management, governance and stakeholder coordination.
Participate in post-implementation reviews and ERP audits, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
Contribute to strategic planning, business process improvement and transformation roadmaps.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, IT or a related discipline.
5–8 years of relevant experience in ERP implementation, finance transformation, PMO, business process improvement, IT advisory or audit.
Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent is an advantage.
Good understanding of accounting processes, financial controls and ERP systems.
Exposure to MPSAS/IPSAS, accrual accounting or government financial systems is an advantage.
Strong analytical, communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a project environment.
