About the Role

We are hiring a Quality Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment) to support advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment development, qualification, and production quality assurance.

This role is focused on ensuring product reliability, process integration, and quality performance from new product development (NPD/NPI) through to high-volume production and field deployment.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, process engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and field service engineering to drive world-class product quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead product quality assurance activities for semiconductor equipment, modules, and incoming components

• Drive NPI/NPD quality activities from design stage through qualification and production ramp-up

• Support equipment/process integration into semiconductor manufacturing environments

• Conduct qualification, reliability testing, failure analysis, and yield improvement initiatives

• Establish and monitor quality metrics (SPC, defect trends, KPI tracking, process capability)

• Perform root cause analysis (8D methodology) and implement corrective and preventive actions

• Support customer complaint / field return analysis (RMA) and resolution with internal teams

• Collaborate with Field Service Engineers on equipment performance and field reliability improvement

• Participate in supplier quality and incoming inspection improvement initiatives

• Support continuous improvement projects across engineering and manufacturing functions

• Travel to supplier / manufacturing / customer sites when required (regional/international)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
