Gobi Partners Hiring! Full Time Finance Executive in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

We are seeking a motivated Finance Executive to join our finance team and support the firm’s financial and operational processes. The role provides valuable exposure to the venture capital ecosystem and is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, adaptable, and looking to build a strong foundation in finance within a dynamic regional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Operations

• Maintain proper documentation, filing, and record-keeping of all finance-related materials.
• Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial and management reports.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of balances.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, including invoice verification, processing, and posting.
• Maintain the payable ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.

Stakeholder Support

• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory bodies as required.
• Support the team in responding to internal and external financial queries.
• Work closely with other departments (HR, Legal, Operations, Investments) to ensure
• smooth financial processes and timely communication.

General Administration

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Finance function.
• Assist in ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by senior executives.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• Around 2 years working experience in finance/accounting

• Good understanding of accounting principles.

• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.

• Ability to communicate in English is required. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added

advantage, particularly for collaboration with GBA and ASEAN counterparts

• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
