Senior Loan Administrator

Job Summary
The Senior Loan Administration Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end administration of high-value loan facilities, including loan processing, documentation, disbursement, repayment administration, and client servicing. The role requires close coordination with borrowers, solicitors, and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant execution of loan transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete loan administration process from application through to full settlement.
- Act as the primary point of contact for borrowers throughout the loan process, providing professional and responsive client service.
- Collect, review, and verify loan applications and supporting documents to ensure completeness and compliance with company requirements.
- Coordinate with solicitors on the preparation, execution, stamping (where applicable), and completion of legal documentation.
- Ensure all conditions precedent and documentation requirements are fulfilled prior to loan disbursement.
- Process and coordinate timely loan disbursements in accordance with approved terms and internal procedures.
- Prepare and verify loan schedules, interest calculations, repayment structures, redemption figures, and settlement amounts.
- Administer and maintain loan accounts, ensuring accurate recording of disbursements, repayments, accrued interest, and outstanding balances.
- Monitor monthly instalments and proactively follow up on overdue payments, while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Prepare statements of account, settlement quotations, redemption figures, and other loan-related documentation upon request.
- Coordinate with the administration team to ensure loan agreements and supporting documents are prepared accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Work closely with Management, Finance, and external solicitors to facilitate smooth loan execution and servicing.
- Maintain complete and organised records of all loan files and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with the Moneylenders Act, company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in reviewing and improving operational processes to enhance efficiency and minimise operational risk.
- Support and guide junior team members on loan administration processes where required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Accounting, Law, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in loan administration, credit administration, loan operations, or financing operations.
- Experience in a licensed money lending company, financial institution, commercial financing company, or a similar role in a legal firm is preferred.
- Proven experience handling complex and high-value financing transactions.
- Strong understanding of loan documentation, legal documentation, loan disbursement processes, repayment administration, and interest calculations.
- Experience liaising with borrowers, solicitors, valuers, and other external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple complex loan files simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
