This role focuses on creating content that brings Mutu's brand to life across TikTok, Instagram, and other social platforms. You will work closely with the Creative Director and content team to produce videos, photos, and other content that connects with our audience and drives engagement. You will be responsible for ideating, shooting, editing, and publishing content that reflects Mutu's identity.

We are looking for someone who is creative, proactive, and comfortable in front of and behind the camera. The right candidate has a good eye for visuals, understands what works on social media, and isn't afraid to experiment. You should be able to work independently, take feedback well, and keep up with fast-moving trends.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow their content creation career in a fast-paced, creative environment and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.

In this role, your responsibilities are:

Content Creation: Ideate, shoot, edit, and publish content for TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms. This includes short-form videos, product showcases, behind-the-scenes content, and trend-based content.

Content Planning: Work with the Creative Director and content team to plan weekly and monthly content calendars. Contribute ideas that align with campaigns, product launches, and brand moments.

Trend Monitoring: Stay on top of trending sounds, formats, and challenges on TikTok and Instagram. Adapt trends to fit Mutu's brand voice and products.

Editing & Post-Production: Edit videos and photos using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar. Ensure content is polished, on-brand, and optimised for each platform.

On-Camera Presence: Appear in content when needed, whether it's product demos, unboxings, or trend-based videos.

Community Engagement: Respond to comments and engage with the community on Mutu's social platforms to build connection and increase reach.

Performance Awareness: Keep an eye on how content performs. Learn what works and adjust your approach based on data and feedback.

This position requires:

• 1 to 2 years of experience in content creation, social media, or a related field. Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio may be considered.
• A strong portfolio or social media presence demonstrating your content creation skills.
• Proficiency in video editing tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar.
• Comfortable being on camera and creating content in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of TikTok and Instagram trends, formats, and best practices.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple content pieces at once.
• A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Strong written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• A good eye for visuals, storytelling, and what resonates with audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
