Job Description – Resident DoctorJob Overview

We are looking for a Resident Doctor to join our healthcare team in Tongkang Pechah, Batu Pahat, Johor. The successful candidate will provide quality patient care, conduct medical consultations, and support the delivery of community healthcare services.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, assessments, and medical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage common medical conditions.
• Provide appropriate treatment, medication, and medical advice.
• Perform relevant medical procedures when required.
• Monitor patients' conditions and provide appropriate follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
• Provide health education and preventive healthcare advice.
• Ensure patient care is delivered professionally and safely.

Other Responsibilities and Duties

• Handle medical emergencies and provide appropriate initial management.
• Refer patients to hospitals or specialists when necessary.
• Work closely with healthcare staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Ensure compliance with clinical procedures, safety standards, and medical guidelines.
• Participate in training and professional development activities.
• Perform other duties related to clinical services as assigned.

Skills and Experience

Academic Qualifications

• Degree in Medicine / Medical Degree.
• Valid registration and relevant practising credentials as required.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of working experience.
• Experience in knee injections and CLP1 is required.
• Experience working in KK or GP settings is an advantage.
• Candidates who have completed the 2-year compulsory service are preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Good patient management and problem-solving skills.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
