Key Responsibilities

1. NPI Program Planning and Governance - Own the overall NPI program plan, milestone schedule, deliverables, dependencies, and execution timeline from prototype through HVM release. - Define program scope, execution priorities, ownership, escalation paths, and phase-gate deliverables to ensure clear accountability across functions. - Drive regular program reviews to track progress, risks, blockers, recovery actions, and decision requirements against committed milestones. - Prepare and govern phase-gate readiness reports to support qualification release, customer commitments, and transition to high-volume manufacturing.

2. NPI Execution and Build Readiness - Coordinate engineering samples, qualification builds, pilot runs, and HVM readiness builds by aligning material availability, capacity, tooling, test readiness, and manufacturing resources. - Track lot movement, hold status, yield performance, cycle time, WIP health, execution risks, and build lesson learned to ensure issues are identified early and translated into preventive actions.

3. Cross-Functional Leadership and Stakeholder Alignment - Act as the key interface between Central Engineering, Product Operation Management, Global Quality, procurement, supply chain, and site operations teams. - Facilitate cross-functional alignment forums, drive timely decision-making, and ensure action items are clearly owned, tracked, and closed. Escalate unresolved risks, resource constraints, schedule impacts, and technical blockers to leadership with clear impact assessment and recommended mitigation plans.

4. Manufacturing, Quality, and Operational Readiness - Ensure manufacturing process flow, tooling, equipment readiness, capacity, operator training, documentation, and system setup are in place before NPI execution & HVM release - Support PFMEA, QCP, change control (CCB), deviation, containment (MRB), corrective action, and preventive action reviews to ensure robust process control and compliance with quality requirements when necessary

5. Risk Management, Business Continuity, and HVM Transition - Identify and manage risks related to schedule, quality, yield, material readiness, supplier readiness, process capability, capacity, and execution stability. - Drive mitigation and recovery plans to protect qualification milestones, customer commitments, supply continuity, and operational readiness. - Ensure smooth handoff from NPI to HVM teams with clear ownership, documented lessons learned, release criteria closure, and post-launch follow-up actions.

6. Automation, Data Analytics, and Business Impact - Develop and use dashboards, trackers, automation tools, and data visualization to monitor project health, milestone attainment, CT reduction, yield performance, WIP health, and qualification success rate. - Translate NPI execution performance into measurable business outcomes, including cost avoidance, productivity improvement, cycle time reduction, yield improvement, labor efficiency, and supply chain risk mitigation.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related technical discipline. Master’s degree is an advantage.

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor industry, electronics manufacturing, NPI, program management, or manufacturing operations.

- Strong project management capability, including schedule management, risk management, stakeholder communication, issue escalation, and action item closure.

- Proficiency in project management tools, data analytics, Power BI/Tableau, automation tools, and structured reporting are preferred.

- Strong understanding of NPI lifecycle, phase-gate governance, manufacturing readiness, capacity planning and quality systems

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
