About the role

We're partnering with a leading global insurer in Singapore to identify a Claims & Underwriting Subject Matter Expert to support a major operations transformation programme. This is a high-visibility contract role reporting into senior operations leadership, with a strong focus on redesigning claims and underwriting processes using AI.

What you'll do

• Act as the SME on claims and/or underwriting process redesign, embedding AI-driven solutions into day-to-day operations
• Partner with transformation and technology teams to identify where AI can improve claims handling, underwriting decisioning, and turnaround times
• Support process mapping, gap analysis, and redesign workshops
• Contribute to UAT and validation of new AI-enabled workflows (where applicable)
• Work closely with PMs/BAs on the broader transformation roadmap

What we're looking for

• 5–10 years' experience in claims and/or underwriting within insurance
• Demonstrated experience redesigning or transforming a claims/underwriting process using AI — this is essential, not preferred
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to work cross-functionally with ops, tech, and transformation teams
• PM/BA experience and UAT exposure is an advantage but not required
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, contract-based transformation environment
