BYD Malaysia Hiring! Full Time IT Specialist - CRM Application System in Selangor - Ricebowl

The IT Specialist is responsible for the daily operation, support and optimization of BYD Malaysia’s CRM application. The role serves as the key IT contact between China IT HQ, Malaysia business users, distributors and dealerships, ensuring the CRM system supports business operations, system integration and BYD’s continued business growth in Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operation of the CRM system, including user roles and authorization for dealerships and distributors, to ensure system security and CRM data protection.
• Act as the first-level IT support for Malaysia dealerships, handling system workflow issues, particularly those related to the e-Daftar registration process.
• Provide critical thinking and business recommendations to Malaysia business users on retail and procurement process flows to improve operational efficiency.
• Analyse system incidents and recurring issues, identify root causes and implement permanent or temporary countermeasure.
• Collaborate with China IT teams to implement Change Requests (CRs) and projects to enhance system performance and optimization in compliance with Malaysia’s regulatory requirements and policies.
• Coordinate system integration with distributors, vendors and other external partners.
• Support UAT, functional testing and system integration testing.
• Conduct system training and provide guidance to distributors and dealerships on CRM system functionalities, processes and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT system operations, application support or system administration.
• Experience with CRM or similar systems or within the automotive industry is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in system deployment, system monitoring, server administration and database management.
• Good knowledge of networking, information security and system troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
