About the Opportunity

We have been tasked by several of our premier clients in Singapore and Dubai—ranging from Offshore Vessel Owners and International Ship Management Companies to Local Bunker Operators —to source qualified maritime talents for both Marine Superintendent and Technical Superintendent positions.

Whether you are an established shore-based Superintendent or an active Deck/Engine Officer currently sailing onboard vessels and keen to come back ashore, this is an excellent opportunity to transition your sea-going expertise into stable, high-growth onshore roles.

Key Responsibilities

For Technical Superintendents:

• Oversee the technical maintenance, dry-docking repairs, and operational reliability of assigned fleet vessels (Offshore Vessels / Tankers / Bunker Barges).
• Monitor machinery performance, plan preventive maintenance schedules, and manage vessel technical budgets.
• Coordinate class surveys, flag state inspections, and ensure strict compliance with statutory technical regulations.

For Marine Superintendents:

• Oversee safety management systems (SMS), navigational audits, and routine marine operations.
• Conduct marine safety inspections, SIRE / vetting preparations, and internal/external audits (ISM / ISPS / MLC / OMSA where applicable).
• Handle marine incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement corrective action plans.
• Monitor bunkering operations, cargo/offshore safety standards, and environmental compliance.

Candidate Requirements

• Certification: Must possess a valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) — open to CoC Class 1, 2, 3, or equivalent Deck / Engine Officer credentials.

• Experience:
• Sailing experience on Offshore Vessels (OSV/AHTS/PSV), Tankers (Oil/Chemical/Gas), or Bunker Tankers/Barges or drybulk is required.
• Those without COC but has experience working in bunker company as technical superintendent is open to apply for technical superintendent in local bunker company
• Active Officers (Chief Engineers, Masters, 2nd/3rd Engineers, Chief/2nd/3rd Officers) currently sailing onboard and keen to return ashore are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Existing shore-based Superintendents or Assistant Superintendents looking for new challenges across these sectors are also welcome.
• Practical understanding of SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM/ISPS codes, and relevant industry standards (e.g., IMCA, SS 600 / SS 648 where applicable).
• Strong problem-solving skills, operational ownership, and good communication skills in English.
