Role Overview

The Assistant Manager, Finance will support the Finance Manager in overseeing daily accounting operations, financial reporting and compliance. The role involves ensuring accurate and timely financial information, liaising with auditors, banks and regulatory bodies, and supporting the organisation’s financial planning and decision-making. 

Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Manager and oversee daily accounting operations.

• Ensure timely, accurate financial statements following company and legal standards.

• Analyze financial data and help shape accounting policies.

• Work with finance team and liaise with auditors, banks, regulatory bodies & other external entities.

• Stay updated on relevant statutory changes and their financial implications.

• Contribute to the organization's financial strategy discussions.

• Protect the confidentiality of financial and operational data.

• Handle special projects and ad-hoc financial tasks as needed.
  

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. 

• Minimum 4–5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, preferably with some supervisory experience. 

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and Singapore statutory requirements. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems. 

• Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail and accuracy. 

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with auditors, banks and regulatory bodies. 

• Able to work independently, manage deadlines and handle multiple priorities. 

• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or CA Singapore would be an advantage.
