About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join the accounting team at Gabungan AQRS Berhad. This is a full-time position based in Kota Damansara, Selangor. As an Account Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our accounting department, assisting with a range of financial transactions and administrative tasks that contribute to the overall financial health of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Processing and recording financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
• Assisting Construction AP Team in preparing daily payments for subcontractors, utilities and general
• Assisting Construction Finance Team on ad-hoc tasks when required
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Filing and organising financial documents to ensure easy retrieval and audit compliance
• Performing data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail

What we're looking for

• Fresh graduate with Bachelor of Accounting in Finance
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records
• Reliability and professional attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role would be advantageous

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
