1. Job Purpose

The Audit Associate is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of audit engagements for clients across various industries. The role involves performing audit procedures, preparing audit documentation, reviewing financial information, and ensuring that assigned audit work is completed accurately and within the required timeframes.

The Audit Associate will also work closely with Senior Auditor and other team members in handling audit engagements of varying sizes and complexity.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Audit Engagements

• Prepare and maintain proper audit working papers and supporting documentation.
• Perform audit procedures for companies across various industries.
• Perform audit work for both active and dormant companies.
• Handle multiple audit engagements concurrently while ensuring assigned work is completed accurately and within the required deadlines.
• Perform audit completion as in preparing the draft audited report.

B. Team Support

• Assist in performing audit work for larger and more complex entities.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the timely completion of audit engagements.
• Share relevant knowledge and assist colleagues in resolving audit-related matters where appropriate.

C. Client Communication

• Communicate professionally with clients in relation to audit requirements and supporting documents.
• Follow up with clients for information and documentation required to complete assigned audit work.
• Maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues.

3. Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of audit experience.
• Fresh graduates with a Degree or professional qualification equivalent in Accountancy are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with experience in audit software are preferred.
• Knowledge of Audit Express or Insight software will be an added advantage.
• Applicants must be willing to work at Taman Suria, Johor Bahru.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
