We are looking for experienced HVAC / Chiller Technicians to support an upcoming HVAC project involving start-up, commissioning and testing activities.

The candidates will be responsible for hands-on technical activities related to HVAC systems and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Start-Up & Commissioning Engineer in daily hands-on commissioning activities.
• Perform start-up and commissioning activities for HVAC units.
• Assist with start-up and commissioning of FWU/CDU and associated HVAC equipment.
• Carry out HVAC equipment testing, functional checks and inspection activities.
• Assist in troubleshooting and rectification of HVAC/chiller-related issues during start-up and commissioning.
• Support testing activities and record relevant test results and equipment conditions.
• Ensure HVAC equipment and systems are ready for start-up and commissioning activities.
• Follow project procedures, safety requirements and instructions from the Commissioning Engineer.
• Use specialised testing tools and equipment provided by Veltech.
• Report technical issues, abnormalities and testing results to the relevant Engineer/Supervisor.
• Perform other HVAC/chiller-related technical duties as required for the project.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma qualification in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant HVAC or Chiller experience.
• Hands-on experience in HVAC systems, chiller systems, or related equipment.
• Experience in start-up, commissioning and/or testing of HVAC equipment is highly preferred.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work hands-on at project/site environment.
• Able to follow technical instructions, procedures and safety requirements.
• Able to work as part of a commissioning team.

• Chiller start-up and commissioning
• HVAC system testing
• Functional/performance testing
• HVAC troubleshooting
• Commissioning of industrial/commercial HVAC systems
• FWU/CDU-related equipment
• Site commissioning activities

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
