Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance

• Maintain and update HSE legal and regulatory registers.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994, Environmental Quality Act (EQA) 1974, and other applicable regulations.
• Coordinate and communicate regulatory requirements to employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Liaise with DOSH, DOE, and other regulatory authorities when required.

Risk Management & Safety Systems

• Review and monitor HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control) documentation.
• Review Environmental Aspect & Impact assessments.
• Develop, review, and improve HSE SOPs, work instructions, and procedures.
• Conduct training and awareness sessions to ensure compliance with established safety standards.
• Monitor implementation and effectiveness of HSE programs across operational sites.

HSE Inspections & Audits

• Plan and execute scheduled safety inspections and site audits.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare inspection reports and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Monitor corrective and preventive action plans.

Incident & Accident Management

• Coordinate accident and incident reporting in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Conduct investigations into occupational accidents, incidents, and illnesses.
• Prepare investigation reports and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate accident and incident records and statistics.

HSE Reporting & Performance Monitoring

• Collect, analyze, and maintain HSE performance data.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual HSE reports.
• Maintain HSE records and documentation in compliance with legal and company requirements.
• Monitor performance trends and recommend improvement initiatives.

Safety Awareness & Training

• Plan and organize safety campaigns, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
• Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization.
• Support employee and contractor competency development through HSE training initiatives.

Leadership & Team Management

• Supervise and provide guidance to HSE personnel and site-level safety coordinators.
• Support operational teams in achieving safety objectives.
• Foster teamwork and continuous improvement within the HSE function.

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
