Retail Operations Manager

Working arrangement: 5.5 days/week

Working location: across 3 outlets (Bukit Merah, Joo Chiat, Tampines)

Job Purpose

Lead and manage the daily operations of retail outlets to ensure excellent customer service, smooth store operations, effective manpower deployment, and achievement of sales and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Outlet Operations

• Oversee daily operations of all outlets and ensure compliance with company SOPs and service standards.
• Conduct regular outlet visits to ensure high standards of cleanliness, merchandising, food safety, and customer service.
• Identify operational issues and implement improvement plans.

2. People Management

• Manage manpower planning, scheduling, and workforce productivity across outlets.
• Coach and develop Outlet Supervisors and retail teams to improve performance and service quality.
• Partner with HR on recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee engagement initiatives.

3. Sales & Business Performance

• Drive sales growth and achieve outlet sales and profitability targets.
• Monitor sales trends and recommend initiatives to increase customer traffic and basket size.
• Support implementation of promotions and marketing campaigns.
• Be responsible for the P&L of all the outlets.

4. Inventory & Stock Control

• Ensure sufficient stock availability and inventory accuracy across outlets.
• Minimize stock losses, wastage, and shrinkage through regular monitoring and control.
• Work closely with Supply Chain and Warehouse teams to resolve stock issues.

5. Customer Experience & Compliance

• Handle escalated customer complaints and improve customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace safety, and company policies.
• Conduct periodic checks on cash handling and operational controls.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of retail, food retail, bakery, supermarket, or F&B operations experience.
• At least 2 years managing multiple outlets and leading outlet supervisors or managers.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
• Good understanding of sales, inventory, and operational KPIs.
• Hands-on, customer-focused, and results-oriented.
• Able to work across outlets and support operational needs when required.

Pay: $6,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
