Job Descriptions:
Prepare blend sheets and adjust formulations of lubricant products for review and approval by Formulation Manager
Assist in providing technical support to sales team through testing and analysis of products
Assist to conduct investigations on customers’ complaints on samples
Ensure all incoming blending components and outgoing finished products meet specified quality parameters
Ensure internal calibration/verification and maintenance for all laboratory equipment as well as procurement and disposal of chemicals carried out duly.
Ensure preventive maintenance and external calibrations of lab equipment is carried out duly
Assist with the application and maintenance of all necessary government licenses related to the laboratory
Assist with the application and renewal of the laboratory’s ISO certification
Responsible in maintaining ISO 9001 document control of all quality system documentation and updating documents including standard/safe work procedures, risk assessment and laboratory records in alignment with HSE management systems
Ensure all chemicals and reagents properly stored and labelled.
Job Requirements:
ITE NITEC, Diploma/Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering
Familiar with ISO quality system
Positive attitude and able to communicate with all levels
Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills
Well-organized, meticulous, and able to work independently
Pleasant personality and a good interpersonal skill
Able to do shift (7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm). Shift allowance will be provided.
Candidates with prior experience in the oil & gas, manufacturing lab background will have an added advantage.
