Job Summary

The Student Care Centre (SCC) Head leads daily centre operations, fosters a safe and engaging environment, develops the team, builds partnerships with parents and schools, and ensures delivery of high-quality student care programmes supporting holistic child development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily Student Care Centre operations to ensure smooth, efficient centre functioning
  • Coach and develop centre staff to maintain high performance and professional standards
  • Implement safety and supervision protocols to protect student well-being in compliance with policies and regulations
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with parents, schools, and external partners through clear communication and collaboration
  • Ensure adherence to operational policies, licensing, health, and safety regulations
  • Coordinate staff scheduling, attendance, and resource allocation to support daily activities
  • Oversee centre administration including documentation, incident reporting, and enrolment processes

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Student Care Centre or related environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
  • Ability to physically support children’s daily routines and classroom activities
  • Strong leadership, people management, and coaching skills
  • Good understanding of student care operations, programme planning, and classroom management
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards for Student Care Centres
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, schools, and staff
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
