Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Security Lead to join a large-scale SAP transformation programme, focused on procurement solutions including SAP Ariba and Fieldglass. This is a critical role responsible for designing and implementing robust security frameworks across SAP environments, ensuring proper access controls, compliance, and governance throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Security Lead across one or more SAP implementation projects, owning the end-to-end security design and delivery
• Design, configure, and implement SAP S/4HANA user roles, authorizations, and profiles across multiple SAP environments (Dev, QA, Production)
• Partner closely with Business and Process teams to define and implement Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) and Segregation of Duties (SoD) frameworks
• Manage and configure security settings across SAP Ariba, Fieldglass, SAP Fiori, and SAP HANA landscapes
• Own the Role Catalogue and lifecycle management on IGA (Identity Governance & Administration) platforms — Saviynt, SAP IDM, or ForgeRock
• Support integration of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions with SAP systems
• Conduct periodic access reviews, audit support, and SoD conflict remediation
• Provide security-related guidance and risk assessments to project stakeholders throughout discovery, build, testing, and go-live phases
• Ensure compliance with internal governance, audit, and regulatory requirements across procurement security processes

Essential Requirements

• Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP Ariba and Fieldglass
• Proven track record as a Security Lead on at least one full-cycle SAP implementation
• Strong hands-on expertise configuring SAP S/4HANA roles, authorizations, and profiles
• Solid understanding of RBAC and SoD principles and practical implementation experience
• Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP HANA, and SAP Cloud Security
• Working knowledge of IAM solutions and their integration with SAP landscapes
• Experience managing Role Catalogues on Saviynt, SAP IDM, or ForgeRock
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills — able to liaise confidently with both business and technical teams

• Prior experience in procurement-focused SAP security engagements
• Exposure to large-scale, multi-region SAP transformation programmes
• Audit and compliance background within an SAP environment
