Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Support & Customer Service

• Provide technical support and product/application guidance to customers.
• Conduct customer trials, machine trials, and product evaluations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to adhesive application, lamination, bonding performance, and finished-product quality.
• Analyze trial results and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, trial reports, and recommendations for customers and internal stakeholders.

2. Lamination Technology

• Support customers in flexible packaging lamination processes, including solvent-based and solvent-free, lamination.
• Understand lamination basic parameters such as coating weight, mixing ratio, curing conditions, machine speed, substrate combination, and application conditions.
• Conduct hands-on trials and optimize process conditions to achieve the required bonding and product performance.
• Monitor market and technological developments in flexible packaging and adhesive applications.

3. Techno-Commercial Activities

• Work closely with Sales and Product Management teams to identify customer requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions.
• Support new product introductions, product trials, and business development activities.
• Participate in customer visits, technical discussions, seminars, and product demonstrations.
• Identify potential business opportunities through technical engagement with customers.
• Communicate customer feedback and market requirements to the Technical & Product Manager
• Support commercial discussions by providing technical justification and application knowledge.

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with lamination machines and processes is highly preferred.
• Candidates with practical experience in solvent-free lamination technology will have a significant advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical customers.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and trials.

Preferred Technical Experience

The following experience will be considered an advantage:

• Solvent-free adhesive lamination
• Solvent-based adhesive lamination
• Flexible packaging converting processes
• Dry lamination / extrusion lamination
• Two-component polyurethane adhesive systems
• Adhesive mixing and application systems
• Lamination machine operation and troubleshooting
• Bond strength and laminate quality evaluation
• Customer trial and technical troubleshooting experience
