Finance Specialist – Accounting Operations

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Experience: 3–5 Years

Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle General Accounting, Financial Reporting, and month/quarter-end closing.
• Prepare financials in line with US-GAAP and internal controls.
• Perform journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting.
• Maintain assigned accounts and complete tasks using Recon Smart/other tools.
• Identify process gaps and suggest improvements.
• Coordinate with internal teams for data gathering and financial analysis.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of General Accounting & Financial Reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and US-GAAP.
• Good MS Excel/MS Office skills.
• SAP experience is an added advantage.
• Shared Services experience preferred.
• Oil & Gas experience is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
