Job Purpose *

The Integration Lead is accountable for the end to end integration of the Regional Distribution System (RDS) with all internal and external interfacing systems across the programme lifecycle. The role ensures integration solutions are planned, designed, tested, deployed, and stabilised in a controlled, compliant, and operationally sustainable manner, aligned with programme objectives and enterprise technology standards.

• Provide single point accountability for RDS integration planning, coordination, delivery, and risk management.
• Ensure seamless connectivity between upstream and downstream systems across business, technology, vendor, and regional stakeholders.
• Govern interface readiness and integration dependencies to support successful deployment and post go live stabilisation.
• Support programme objectives by ensuring integration outcomes meet functional, non functional, security, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities *

The Integration Lead drives end to end integration delivery across design, build, testing, deployment, and support phases, acting as the primary coordination point for all interfacing systems within the RDS programme

•     Lead and coordinate requirements, schedules, and activities across all interfacing and integrating systems throughout the project lifecycle.
•     Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all upstream and downstream interfacing systems, ensuring clear ownership and effective coordination.
•     Drive end to end integration planning and execution, including interface design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
•     Proactively engage interfacing teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined, documented, understood, and delivered as agreed.
•     Monitor integration dependencies, risks, and issues; proactively escalate and advise the Project Manager and Project Director on potential impacts and mitigation actions.
•     Work closely with business users, business analysts, developers, vendors, and middleware teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and ensure seamless system integration.
•     Coordinate and manage all interface-related testing activities, including SIT, UAT, mock runs, disaster recovery (DR) testing, and production readiness.
•     Support test execution by providing integration requirements, validating test results, and facilitating walkthroughs with end users.
•     Review and quality-assure interface designs, configurations, code, test cases, and technical deliverables to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
•     Configure, automate, and validate reports, reconciliations, and data extracts supporting integration and operational needs.
•     Support production cutover, deployment activities, and post–go-live stabilization, including issue triage and ongoing maintenance for interfacing systems.
•     Participate in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of application components, interfaces, scripts, and data extracts, as required by the project.

University Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent

Relevant Work Experience

•     Experience in Murex / FinIQ / Ret-AD / SWAT / Treasury Applications
•     Delivered medium and/or large-scale projects from project inception through the entire project life cycle.

Required Competencies and Skills *

Competencies/Skills

The role requires a strong blend of technical integration expertise, delivery discipline, and stakeholder management capability, with hands on experience delivering complex integrations within banking and capital markets environments.

Education & Experience

•     Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
•     Minimum 5 years of progressive technology experience, with a strong background in hands on delivery roles covering system integration, interfaces, and platform connectivity.
•     Proven experience delivering medium to large scale banking or capital markets programmes across the full project lifecycle, from initiation through go live and post implementation stabilisation.
•     Prior exposure to Treasury and Global Markets platforms such as Murex, FinIQ, Ret AD, SWAT, or similar treasury systems is strongly preferred.
•     At least 3 years’ experience managing complex integrations involving multiple upstream, downstream, and middleware systems.

Integration & Technical Capability

•     Strong hands-on experience with system integration patterns, including batch and real time processing, file-based interfaces, and event driven architectures.
•     Solid understanding of network connectivity, secure file transfer protocols, and interface mechanisms including FIX, SOAP, REST/JSON APIs.
•     Practical experience working with job scheduling and batch orchestration tools (e.g. Control M) and scripting in Unix/Linux environments.
•     Comfortable working with or overseeing solutions involving Automiser, Linux/Unix scripting, Python, Jenkins, JIRA, and SQL based data extraction.
•     Good understanding of functional and non-functional requirements (performance, resilience, security, recoverability) in enterprise application delivery.
•     Experience reviewing and quality assuring interface designs, configurations, technical specifications, and integration code to ensure alignment with enterprise and RDS standards.

Testing, Quality & Delivery Control

•     Strong experience coordinating and managing integration focused testing phases, including SIT, UAT, mock runs, DR testing, and production readiness activities.
•     Ability to design, review, and assure manual test cases to achieve full integration and regression coverage.
•     Experience configuring, executing, and reporting on test cycles, with effective defect triage and resolution management in partnership with vendors and delivery teams.
•     Exposure to test automation tools is an advantage.

•     Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to translate complex technical matters into clear, business relevant language.
•     Demonstrated ability to act as a single point of contact (SPOC) for integration matters, managing expectations across business users, technology teams, vendors, and regional stakeholders.
•     Strong stakeholder management capability, including engagement with business, compliance, operations, and external partners.
•     Proven ability to prepare, validate, and challenge business and integration requirements, ensuring clarity, completeness, and traceability.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,800.00 per month
