Responsibilities
Make sure that all equipment and health and safety laws and regulations are followed in accordance with ISO, Manufacturer/OEM, and SOLAS standards.
Liferaft Equipment Service
Before starting any work, make sure the equipment is tested as directed.
Perform routine site inspections and advise management on how to maintain a secure workplace.
When needed, provide management with the information needed for station audits.
Make sure the service team receives technical information so they can provide a quote.
Make sure that all administrative tasks, including job cards, equipment marking, service reports, and certification, are finished on time.
Make sure that all required safety precautions and the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) are followed.
Keep the workshop neat and orderly, and keep the tools and work bays in good condition.
