About the role
Lap Kei Engineering Company Ltd is seeking a Project Clerk to join our project team on a full-time basis. Based in Kowloon Bay, Kwun Tong District, this role is to the smooth operation of our E & M projects. As a Project Clerk, you will provide essential administrative and clerical support to project teams, ensuring accurate documentation, efficient communication, and organised project records. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the operational effectiveness of our E & M projects and supporting our project management objectives.
Key responsibilities:
Assisting with the preparation of progress reports, meeting minutes, and other project documentation
Maintaining project documentation, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence
Preparing and filing project records, reports, and administrative documents in an organised and accessible manner
Coordinating communication between project teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers
Processing and filing invoices, purchase orders, and payment documentation
Maintaining site recording daily activities, incidents, and observations
Supporting the coordination of site meetings and maintaining detailed records of discussions and action items
What we're looking for :
Secondary school education or equivalent qualification (Form 5 or above)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and follow instructions
Familiarity with construction terminology and industry practices (preferred but not essential)
Prior experience in a construction, engineering, or project management environment (preferred)
Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanour
