ABOUT NADALAB

NadaLab helps businesses across Southeast Asia improve collections, telesales and customer service through localised Voice AI. We build AI conversations that understand how people actually speak, bringing together technology, local languages and practical business knowledge.

THE ROLE

Take Voice AI from a signed proof of concept (POC) to a successful live deployment.

You will work directly with clients to connect NadaLab’s platform with their telephony, data, systems and workflows. You will own configuration, integration, testing and go-live, then refine the solution until it meets agreed business and conversation-quality targets.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role for someone who enjoys solving practical problems, works independently and can turn unclear requirements into a working solution.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Own deployments from POC through configuration, integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), go-live and initial production support.

• Analyse calls and transcripts to identify and resolve latency, unwanted interruptions, conversation flow and voice-persona issues.

• Tune agents’ tone, language and conversational style for each client, including localisation for Bahasa Malaysia, Manglish, Singlish, Mandarin and Cantonese.

• Integrate telephony, CRM systems, data feeds and messaging channels using APIs, webhooks and technical documentation.

• Work closely with client operations and customer experience teams to understand requirements, manage expectations and build trust.

• Use AI tools and agentic workflows to configure, test and deliver solutions quickly.

• Turn recurring deployment challenges and customer feedback into clear product and platform improvements.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Practical engineering ability and confidence owning a deployment through to measurable results.

• Strong integration and troubleshooting skills across APIs, business systems and communications platforms.

• An ear for what makes a voice conversation natural, and the ability to improve agent behaviour as well as the underlying code.

• The ability to translate operational needs into technical configurations and explain technical decisions clearly to clients.

• Confidence working independently when requirements are incomplete or evolving.

• Effective use of AI development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining production quality.

TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT

You will work across Python or scripting, REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, telephony/SIP, speech-to-text and text-to-speech, LLM APIs, AI agent frameworks, CRM integrations, WhatsApp Business API, cloud services, Git and production debugging.

We value practical engineering judgement over experience with one particular technology stack.

HOW WE ASSESS CANDIDATES

Our assessment focuses on practical work:

• Voice diagnosis: Identify what went wrong in a call, including latency, interruption handling and agent behaviour.

• Localisation: Explain how you would make a Manglish voice agent sound more natural.

• Deployment exercise: Use a client brief to scope an integration and initial voice-persona configuration.

Clients have a stable, working Voice AI solution that meets agreed targets. You build their confidence, improve conversation quality and help strengthen NadaLab’s platform through insights from real deployments.
