VACANCY: CUSTOMER QUALITY ENGINEER

MYFutureJobs Negeri Sembilan is assisting an established manufacturer in the lithium-ion battery industry in recruiting a qualified Customer Quality Engineer.

Location: Banting, Selangor

Basic Salary: RM3,500 per month

Experience: Minimum two years

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering or a related field

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer complaints, product defects and other quality-related concerns.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and prepare corrective and preventive action plans.
• Prepare CAPA, 8D and other customer-required quality reports.
• Monitor product quality to ensure compliance with customer specifications and applicable standards.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering and other departments to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
• Analyse quality data to identify recurring problems and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare quality reports and maintain complete documentation of customer quality incidents.
• Support customer audits, internal audits and quality-related meetings.
• Develop and update quality procedures, inspection standards and work instructions.
• Liaise with customers regarding quality expectations, complaints and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of experience in quality assurance, quality engineering or customer quality within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements.
• Familiarity with CAPA, 8D, root-cause analysis
